In this course, you will learn about the science of that which supports well-being. This is not about "being positive" (which often means suppressing your true experience), but rather Positive Psychology was created to focus scientific research on learning what supports well-being. Prior to that time, psychological research focused almost exclusively on treating illness. Balance was needed.

I hope every student takes this class, as there is much we can do (including simple steps that are not time consuming) to support ourselves and others. I developed this course years ago because I was very exciting about the scientific research coming in and putting it into practice transformed my own life for the better.
